The academics are challenging, but they aren't difficult if you try. I was able to get basically straight a's all through my middle school time here. The workload averages about one hour of homework a night, but can sometimes be a little more. They do offer honors and advanced placement classes to allow for a challenging cirriculum for those students. Those are what I primarily did all three years of middle school here.

There is a lot of fan support for the schools teams. There is great athletic facilities like a large, stocked gymnasium, they have a weight room for the football teams and weighlifting club. School spirit is pretty high, and there are lots of pep rally's. They have a great track with soccer fields, playground, tennis courts, and park area.

The teachers there really will go the extra mile for their students. They try to do everything short doing it for them to get them to succeed. They are very easy to talk to and helpful. They take an interest in the students lives, and can relate to them very well. They have good communication skills, and can get the lessons across very effectively.

I would never recommend this school. Some of the teachers seem to care about my child but most of the others seem to think it's a vacation. My daughter attended this school, the principal is great. The teachers were there to help her. My daughter recently graduated from UT, with a degree in physic. She currently works for NRAO, she works with radio telescopes.

I have had 2 children in this school now and am very disappointed with it. After a change of some teachers and administrators, I had hopes for improvement, but this has not been the case.
