I have no experience with the school yet.. this is my son's first year going to Whitemarsh transferring from Norristown school district however I've heard only amazing things as far as the education in the school district

Whitemarsh elementary school lacks leadership. Teachers are not properly trained and when this is addressed with the administration, they are condescending and frankly totally out of line. If you’re looking to send your kid to a school that you could easily sue, this is the place.

We have been incredibly happy with this school. It is warm & welcoming, has wonderful teachers, and student achievement is very high. I would take the negative comments on this site with a grain of salt.

As a kid of this school I have been teased by kids & teachers. They make me not like school when I used to. Each day I dread going to this school due to their lack of empathy for my special needs.
