Saint Thomas More is an extremely hard competitive school. In my opinion, you do not get your moneys worth and your better off going to ESA or Ascension. Everyone is extremely judgmental, student wise. Most of the teachers act like they hate their lives, and are not willing to help students. Lunch ladies yell at you everyday. There are some good, kind teachers, but they are extremely rare to come by. The only genuinely nice people are the custodians. Save your money.

The best aspect of this school is the emphasis and daily enrichment of the Catholic faith. the frequency of masses offered, the theology curriculum, and the variety of ministries offered for student involvement make the sacrifice to afford our children this Catholic education worthwhile. Additionally, STM has a very strong academic curriculum, extremely successful athletic programs, and a wide diversity of student clubs and organizations providing interests and opportunities to all types of interests for students.

I liked the free tutoring that students can go to to receive more help from their teachers. My school also allows students to help tutor other students, this gives students an even bigger opportunity to get the help they need. My school offers ASP testing, meaning every eligible student can receive up to an extra hour on any tests they take. My school offers many extra help opportunities for students who need help.

What a horrible experience!! We had moved in from Texas, they were clickish not accepting of newcomers. I am so regretting my decision to send my child here

I couldn't be happier with STM! My son is completing his 9th grade year and it has been a great year. It is the only choice for a quality, christian based high school education in Lafayette, LA.

I am currently a junior at STM and it is by far the only school that I cannot find anything wrong with. Our new principal, Mrs. Menard is so kind and she is so willing to help our school become up-to-date on technology. The campus ministry program is filled with so many students that have heard the...

I am currently a Junior at STM, and I love it! The teachers are first class, we have one of the best athletic programs in the state, and the students are wonderful! Best of all, our test scores and graduation rates are some of the best in the state. If you want your child to get a good education and...
