GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The school is small so all the teachers that you have will know you and make a connection and our college counselor would hold one on one meetings and host college workshops where you can work on your applications. The worst part would be the teachers, and I would like to see either the teachers be changed or matured and grown. There are some teachers that are really good but a lot of them aren't.

The best part at HTLA is the student-teacher relationships that are able to be established. Because it is a small school, it allows for students to interact one on one with teachers more which is a very important aspect in schooling. I also like how involved all the staff members are and how supportive they are to all students.

The school is very interactive and makes the students do group work and presentations. The Presentation of Learning is something I believe no other school does and it helps students with presentations and public speaking. The school prepares their students for the real world

This school has decent education but your kid will not end up the happiest here lol better off at another school. More educational opportunities at other places too such as AP classes, extracurricular activities such as clubs, sports, and other things. Those are not offered at this schoolZ

This school is great. Strict but great. I noticed that bad reviews come from the students cause program is hard. Students really have to study and do homework. That’s what parents like but kids not so much. My two kids graduated from it and got accepted to all colleges they applied. They didn’t have...
