It is a gift to teach at Lake Forest Country Day School. As a sixth-grade English teacher, I'm inspired daily by the people around me. Teachers at LFCDS are highly-creative and collaborative and I consistently learn from my colleagues. I have the autonomy to follow my students' interests year to year and feel incredibly supported by the administration as I incorporate new ideas into my teaching.

We know LFCDS from friends. After several field visits to the school by us and our child, we decided to transfer to another LFCDS from another private secondary school a year ago. The experience at LFCDS has made us feel the humanity of this school and the cultivation of children in all aspects. We are a very correct decision for us to transfer our child to this school.

We had a wonderful four years at LFCDS. Culture, attention to individual students, academic rigor and lifelong friendships were only some of the positives we experienced. Would strongly recommend to anyone.

I have been to 8 different schools, and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. The kids are all mean and stuck up, and the teachers don't care. The counselors go out of their way to spread your private information. They are very liberal and I wasn't comfortable with boys who claimed to...

We have two children at the school and we see their progress in academia, leadership and social skills. Additionally, the leadership is excellent and inspiring to the faculty and parents.

Country Day has been an amazing experience for our children so far. One is in JK and is in her 3rd year in the school and the other is in 2nd and her 5th year. Exceptional school. The teachers really take the time to know and understand each child. Students are challenged and inspired. The commitment to the whole child through academics, arts, and athletics is very visible. Welcoming community and inspiring teachers. Our kids love school!
