Donned in the colors of its geological surroundings - the nearby Hogback Ridge of the Rocky Mountain foothills - Bear Creek K-8 Public School sports a thoughtful design. The ground floor is home to a separate K-1 academy and a classroom pod for grades 2-5. The second level is dedicated to grades 6-8. All classrooms face north/south to maximize the bright Colorado daylight. With a student population of around 1,100, Bear Creek K-8 School has been ranked 496th (out of 992) in Colorado elementary schools and 188th (of 465) in Colorado Middle Schools. used to go to this school, they expelled me for trying to stand up for myself after 2 years of bullying from other students, teachers were not helpful and were rude to students and did not believe anything i said about the bullying

I went to this school for 9 years. I never had a major issue with the teachings or anything like that. There was a lack of emotional support for students that didn't explicitly say they were in need of it. I was bullied one year, and instead of supporting me through it, counciling turned it back aro...

The grading scale for middle school is too tough. A 92% is a B and a 82% is a C that’s too extreme for middle school. The amount of homework for kids is crazy. Research shows homework does not improve test scores, yet they give hours of homework every day. It’s hard to have after school activities w...
