St. Edward High School, known locally as St. Ed’s, is a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. This private Catholic school founded in 1949 serves more than 970 students in grades nine through 12. St. Ed’s cultivates a tradition of faith and strives to nurture young men into critical thinkers and leaders.
College-prep curriculum is provided for all students, and extensive accelerated options and support resources help ensure each student can maximize his learning potential. St. Ed’s offers International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement programs, as well as dual enrollment via the College Credit Plus Program.
At the end of the school day, halls buzz with energy as young men head to team practice or club meetings. More than 15 sports in the St. Ed’s athletics program are a formative part of these young men’s education.
Wrestlers at St. Ed’s have dominated the Ohio state championships for over 40 years and won several national championships in that time. St. Ed’s football team is also known as championship winners in the area.
Students here can stay active in over 50 clubs, including Model UN, Pre-Med Society, Robotics and Men of Hope, as well as Latin, French, entrepreneurship and environmental clubs.

I am a parent of a St Edward grad and a soon to be freshman student. This school is amazing. The outstanding academics and sports atmosphere as well as the brotherhood bond is top notch! The school has an awesome alumni network. The teachers & staff care about these boys and graduate them as men.

As an outsider to the Catholic community (particularly schooling), I was hesitant about entering the world of St. Ed's. This environment has exceeded my expectations in terms of the respectfulness of the students, the faculty that is truly a family, the grit of the athletes, and the heart of each person that is touched by this community. They do it right at St. Ed's.

The best part is the school pride and the football games. It is an electric atmosphere. The worst part is the price of the food which can be too expensive at times.
