GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The staff was nice and it was nice to have more opportunities with the classes they provide. Lampasas High School was also a nice environment to be in as a new student.

Not great. Faced racism my freshmen year personally, but the rest of the years no one directed racism towards me, but they did to others. A lot of teachers did not care about what they were doing.

For the size of the town, a lot of kids attend Lampasas High. It is overall pretty decent there aren't too many counts of violence and fighting isn't common at all. The population of the school is majority white and it is in a rural location. The people are kind and the teachers are awesome.

Lampasas isn’t the best place to go to school, The only people who say that they like this school is the “popular” kids and it’s because they have it easy. The teachers mainly pay attention to them and let them off with a lot of stuff. 3 of my teachers has targeted me multiple times for things i hav...

Under very new leadership this school has went downhill fast! The vice principal has only been in her role for four months and seems to have a huge power trip on these poor kids. The principal who is also new to his role after being an assistant principal for sometime seems to be enjoying his power...

Mediocre, theyou pass kids that shouldn't pass. Those kids play games all day. The school chooses favorites though it isn't as bad as it was at the middle school here in Lampasas. Let me also remind you we have the education level of Turkey TURKEY. Research it if you don't believe me.
