I have been going to academy my whole life - about 15 years now and I have made amazing memories. I love the events that are tradition in our school and my favorite part is how much the teachers care about you. with our no cut policy in sports, its great to do any you would like to try; hoverer, it does pose that sometimes teams can get to large and have little to no playing time for those who wanted to try. I do love how when you achieve something important in sports you can get you name hung up in the gym making cool stories for people to share.

Academy at the Lakes has been an amazing high school for me. The classes are involved and rigorous, and teachers are readily available to assist students. As an Academy student I have had many opportunities to participate in clubs, sports, and competitive teams. Even though our sports and competitive teams are not always the greatest, the Academy culture of putting fun before victory has made all of those experiences wonderful. I've loved almost every class I have taken at Academy. There have been some negative experiences in organizing the student body and activities as the school tries new methods of organization, and there have been some negative experiences with other students, however, the overall experience at Academy is positive and I don't believe there is much I would like to see change.

My daughter was in the junior kindergarten class and I was really unimpressed with the teacher. She's not very good with emailing parents and not very good at connecting with the students. I would say she always seems distracted.

I like the school overall but the pre kindergarten teacher is horrible. My son definitely could have used more help and this teacher is just not cutting it.
