GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Provides a great academic experience for students who are motivated to learn and do well. Many options for support and resources of all types of academic levels if they need help or would like to grow as a student. Faculty are knowledgeable and most are passionate about what they do. Environment is constantly changing with the times. Great program with the local community college to obtain an associates degree while in high school (or just opportunity to take college classes in high school). Many sports and activities for all students.

To be honest, I maybe a little bias because I have been placed in higher placement classes which allowed me to avoid certain teachers. But as a whole, I heard and experienced the school as friendly but not the most college ready school out there. Certain students placement in class are questionable because majority of the time they don't do well or they don't put in the effort that is required by the course.

LTHS is a great school. Except for the fact that their budget's been slashed two years in a row to record low rates, so the quality may drop during the next fiscal year. The best part about LTHS is its connection with OCC, I can attend both schools at the same time with little to no trouble. Another great thing is that the older you get in the school the more opportunities you have access to. The bathrooms are iffy since some younger students enjoy destroying them, so they get locked. My experience with the food is both really good and really bad.

As a parent , we all want whats best for our kids. Our experience with Lacey schools was the best. Both of my kids graduated near the top of their classes and excelled in academics, sports, music . One graduated from IVY LEAGUE , the other from PACE UNIVERSITY in NY. They are excelling in their care...

My experience in this school has personally been a nightmare. The school doesn't seem to care about important issues a student is having and only cares for those who are in sports or in AP classes. Most kids I know who go here say they no longer want to go to college since their experience here has...

This school does care about student issues and has helped my son a long way (Good IEP)! Plenty of sports and scholastic programs available and great school spirit! He hasn't had any trouble with college acceptance.
