GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

In Thornton Fractional South i've felt like I've had a great experience throughout all 4 years of being here. this school is great when it comes to protecting its students and making us feel safe, although I do believe they could work on minimizing the amount of fights that happen. I enjoy the classes they have to offer and sometimes its overwhelming to see how many more classes and opportunities they have to offer the students. they haven't done too much when it comes to college readiness which is fine but I do believe that they should take some time to prepare students a bit for for college due to college being such a big step in life. I haven't really had any terrible experiences here since I have mostly been keeping to myself but I would like to see them add a little more food options in the cafeteria and give more options for the English side of the classes they offer.

This is my last year at this school; I've got about a month and a half leftover until I graduate. I don't really have much to say about the school.

My overall experience was pretty good. The teachers are pretty nice. The students try their best to boost their grades and learn the material. I learn a lot and is also very diverse. Overall, it's pretty decent.

As long as things look good externally (building, office spaces, etc), he's okay with hiding the truth. The truth is, this school is far behind and is not succeeding. The average ACT score is unde...
