GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I appreciate the fact that most of the teachers actually care about you, and want you to succeed. The theater program is amazing and has helped me become a better actor. I don't like the fact that we have posters of expectations all over the school, and the walls are plain. Some of the classrooms are small for the amount of people that are put in it (like 23 desks in a smallish classroom crowded, but not impossible to move around), while others are bigger.

It's a pretty good high school but being a student who transferred in, I feel as though they could do a little bit more work with the transfer students and setting them up. My counselor was really good but some of the teachers weren't as good at approaching it.

I just started going to Laramie high school in august as a freshman. I have loved it there. There are tons of people to talk to. And I have made tons of friends. The teachers are all extremely willing to help and are all very friendly. We even have a cop going around the school looking for problems...

I graduated from LHS a while back. It was a dismal, dreary building, the curriculum lame and the teachers uninspired. Before I moved to Laramie, I went to public school in Houston, Texas. Now that was a good school, great teachers and programs.
