GreatSchools Rating

Source: GreatSchools
GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I would like the admin to be more involved with students and teachers to not have attitudes when students ask questions

The school is very strict with certain things. The student population isn't too diverse and some might feel unwelcome because of how secluded different groups of people might come off as.

This school advocates for people to stop bullying but it has just come out that the principal and vice principal have been bullying one of the schools most beloved teachers for FIVE YEARS. He has filed for harassment reports numerous times and the county refuses to hear it but the principal has decided to make one report on him with no basis and he got sent out for it. It has very sad that this school used to be very good for students but now there are people in charge that should never be role models for your kids.

How was my child supposed to get to school? I have to pay $400 for a van every month just because the school can’t afford a bus that’s emba...

This is not a good choice for your son/daughter. Tecahers feel like they do not want to do their job. Your child will thank you when you didn't take her/him to that school.

He has truly thrived in this school thanks to the teachers who are invested, experienced, and dedicated to their students learning and havi...
