Barely any clubs/activities, put in a really bad area of Laurel, and a horrible budget and PTA. The curriculum can be very interesting in some subjects - some of the teachers can be really good or make you look at yourself in a horrible way (for example me with my choir teacher - but thankfully he's transferred). This school made my life ten times worse but I'm glad to be out and have survived it.

It is an okay middle school, there is nothing really special about it. You'll get an average middle school experience. However the librarian at the time I attended was quite amazing.

It's an okay school...the students are really mean and they say a lot of inappropriate things. Overall the school/teachers are fine but some of the students make the experience worse.

My experience at mhms has been honestly pitiful so far. The worse part is that some students are genuinely wonderful people but the bad ones stick out so much and make the experience so terrible it’s hard to get by. Our school went into a lockdown for a kid . Then basically nobody does anything work related and instead focus solely on relationships. There no such thing as really helping each other out in tough situations or religious beliefs and the food is always soggy.

My daughter attended MHMS and I'm so proud that with the help and understanding of her individual learning process she has moved on to the next level with better grades every year.
