GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My school has many great things and benefits to take advantage of, but the thing is that sometimes it also sucks. It's bad when it comes to the food, the lack of bathrooms, and how mid it can be. Some good things could be the nice environment, the abundance of trees, and animals and how easy it can be to connect with the students and teachers, it's really fun and engaging.

The best part of my experience at this school is the small campus. It makes it easier to transition into the different classrooms and allows you to connect to your teachers. The worst experience at this school has been the lack of funding although not our fault it has minimized our high school experience and we, as students, have to do a lot of our fundraisers to do what we want. I would like to see the school create a more organized way to handle students and be more focused on diversity with a celebration of other cultures.

There are some teachers that care and there are a handful that don't. the majority of the teachers mainly just want to get the information out and it doesn't give kids time to actually learn

As a student at ECHS Lawndale ive first hand seen how the staff and educators act with crying outbreaks or getting in students faces when they cant control themselves. The staff complains about how their devices stress them so much and create a mandate specifically for the students excluding the use...

The staff does an excellent job mediating conflicts and coaching the kids on communication and conflict management skills. They are also provide proactive academic support so that no student is left behind. They are kind and transparent with students and parents and have the most positive attitude.

ECHS excels and out ranks most, if not all, surrounding high schools and further. School is for learning and academics and that is their focus. There are some sports offered and if they expanded that, it would be even better. The environment is calm and safe, unlike your typical large overcrowded hi...
