GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My sons came to Mountain View as sophomores and a senior. Everyone has been very welcoming and encouraging to my sons, my wife, and I.

Mountain View High School is a very well-rounded school. Between academics, sports, and college readiness this school excels in all aspects. The teachers love what they do which in turn motivates the students to learn and improve. Mountain View High School also offers many different AP courses which improves the rate of exceptions for many students looking to sided their learning in college.

The atmosphere around the students was friendly and diverse. I would say students were mostly involved in school activities. I graduated from there in 2023. Some students at the time did not have a steady connection to some of the teachers, but overall I feel administration tried to make a welcoming and safe environment for students.

The office personnel will not return calls. Never provide any straight answers. Will just straight up kick a student of school, rather than help. They put there teacher reputation before the students safety.

The food is miserable, the teachers do not listen to the students(except for coach head), they do not have a boys volleyball team.
