GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The opportunities that the school provided, like the number of clubs and sports. What I think should be improved on is the way certain teachers work with their students, most are good at their jobs, but there is always that one teacher everyone complains about.

The staff at Lawton High School is very respectful and helpful, but there needs to be something done about bullying. Students get away with a lot that should not be going on in school. Staff needs to become more involved on preventing this issue.

This school has a horrible bullying problem that they refuse to address. They also don't have much when it comes to afterschool programs unless you are an athlete.

The school is very good for being so small. The majority of students want an easy fun social school. They are unwilling to do their homework or apply themselves. AP courses are not offered, but the school will pay for taking classes at KVCC for actual college credit. I am sick of students that behav...

I was challenged and never really got bored. I was very prepared for college after I graduated. I even took AP calculus here and got an A in...

This school has a very low quality in education. The teachers do not help the students at all and when a student doesn't poorly, no one encourages them and merely sends them to the alternative for someone else to deal with. The school has very unrealistic rules. The principal has poor leadership qua...
