GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It is a pretty nice school. You can definitely do a lot of things if you push yourself and if you are passionate about opportunities. The community is pretty welcoming, and there are no big issues.

The new principal we got, has made drastic changes to our school's culture. We have reduced suspensions by giving out lunch detentions. We are doing this to avoid the School to Prison Pipeline for students.

I honestly was very happy here and learned a lot that I now use in college. Some of the best teachers I have had the pleasure to meet and learn from.

The school get's an average rating because of the students. There lazy and refuse to do any hard work. The teachers get blamed when really its the parents who should be blamed. The students are lazy, the school is poorly built and there is no form of community offered at LCHS.

Ok...has anyone else noticed all of the typos from the students? I had to point that out and laugh.

At one point, LCHS was a well rounded school. Unfortunately it has really taken a turn for the worse. Almost all the teachers here are willing to work, yet only a minimal amount of those teachers are willing to work for the benefits of the students. As an advanced student, I get extremely board duri...
