GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have had a positive experience in high school, and feel grateful to have met some amazing teachers.

I became friends with incredible people, had wonderful teachers, took part in events, and felt like I had found a home at Loudoun County High School. I enjoyed my high school years to its fullest regardless of circumstances, and cherished every moment I got to spend at LCHS. I didn't like the old interiors of the school while I used to go there, but now I miss seeing it everyday. Best experience ever.

The people here are overall really nice, and for the most part, the teachers are helpful during classes. The asbestos exposure really makes the school a 10/10 experience.

Graduated in 2018, and overall I think I had a decent experience with Loudoun County. It wasn't the best, but it certainly wasn't the worst either. My biggest issue was that I rarely felt the school provided support and safety from harsh punishment and discrimination--in my memory, I felt these issu...

Let me start off by saying that this school doesn't care about the students mental health at all. This school has failed my daughter after her father died unexpectedly in 2022 halfway through her senior year. The teachers created an uncomfortable and unsafe environment for her as well, by making sni...

I graduated from County in 2014 and loved it. The arts programs are vibrant and well respected, sports are there to be a part of the community, and the AP programs give you an opportunity to get plenty of college credits (I had friends go into college Sophomores.) There are a hand full of terrible t...

My two kids both attend LCHS my oldest just graduated this year. From a parents perspective we have been very happy with this school. I have one son who is very outgoing and another who struggled socially coming in and they both have flourished here. The majority of the teachers that work here are w...
