GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It was good. Memorable teachers. Some teachers were lazy/unprofessional and the administration was on the decline as I left with worse and worse calls being made. Not bad for the most part however.

The school is generally good. They have a good guidance office. Most teachers are either cool or racist ( no in between).

I, personally, had a great high school experience at Schuylkill Valley. The teachers and faculty were always willing to help students be the best they could possibly be, whether it was in a student's academics, sports, music, etc. The faculty cared about their students and it shows. I have nothing but good memories from attending the Schuylkill Valley School District throughout kindergarten to my senior year.

I'm a student here, and have been enjoying my school life. Many of the teachers are nice and care about the topics and the students. They do talks one on one to help students and have study systems in place to help those who fall behind. There are a few problems with actual policies being strict, bu...

horrible with sports to arts balance. I see the football and other sports teams get New Jerseys while the arts department is falling apart. My child has told me that there is mold in the roof and no support to the music program. Teachers for the most part are supportive, counselors don’t respond to...

What I love about SV is that it's a small school, everyone knows each other and it's easy to make friends with upperclassmen when you start. We have incredibly gifted teachers, most people don't realize that we are lucky to have the teachers we have. I love that our administration is not completely...

Strong in liberal arts, but weak in STEM. Use of technology is weak, but looks like there is potential to improve with new leadership changes and fund allocations. Declining/Flat enrollment, and relatively small number of students per grade (@170 or so in an average year) make this a good school for...
