Great school were you can learn with great teachers. Many activities for the students to participate such as band course Sports Art Club genius hour outdoor education reading Olympics Special Olympics service Club mathcounts spelling bee Geography Bee and many other activities. 8th grade was very hard for my child but they were prepared for high school. Sometimes the discipline needs to be a little tougher. Technology is getting better but still needs updates. My child feels safe at the school. She also feels like she is cared about by her teachers and peers I am glad my daughter goes to school at Schuylkill Valley Middle School.

I'm very disappointed in the teachers, principals and superintendents in this school district. They need a complete overhaul. They will not communicate or contact you even when have expressed concern and are involved in your child's school work. They all seem to not care at all about the children.

The teachers at this school are great but the one principal is terrible at taking sides of students that he knew and there parents. He will not always believe what your kids says because of him knowing the other kid better he believed her cause he was friends with her parents. After all of that he w...

Last year my son had nothing but issues mostly stemming from bullying by the girls, then he was in trouble when he exploded.
