Better academics than surrounding schools, but often let students that played sports act like privileged jerks with no consequences.

The teachers and education within the school was mostly above and beyond. Some times teachers took a long time with putting in grades, or getting back to students with needed information.

On more than one occasion Lewisburg High School has run out of food to serve the students for lunch. Many students were left without lunch. Students who were able to get lunches shared and some students bought food at the vending machines. The school district is not suffering financially and can cer...

I agree with the negative comments herein. My son is a freshman and is extremely bored with this school. He is not required to read any books for English class even though it is honors English. NOT NEARLY AS GOOD AS IT COULD BE.. Lewisburg gets excellent students and supportive parents. It resembles a suburban school district. The district encompasses the more affluent areas in the general area, and gets a special boost from the Bucknell faculty children and the children of many Geisinger...
