GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

At first it will seem a lot but it will be worth it because I got through classes more faster through other schools who do a year along subject and steam prepares you for it and gets you into dual credit class.

STEAM Academy is a school that will develop the best version of yourself. It has a great staff that is always very helpful and sweet. The school has a very diverse group of students and makes everyone feel super welcome. This school gave me many opportunities such as taking Dual Credit Courses starting as a junior, also provided me with help to get Internships. They have many resources that will help you reach your goals.

My overall experience at STEAM Academy is very good. All of the teachers and students are very nice. The teachers do everything they can to be able to give us the most opportunities and experiences we can get. Such as taking college courses on BCTC's campus. Also we are encouraged to participate in a half day internship with a career path we would want to pursue. This helps us understand if we want to continue in this career path or find something else we would be more interested in studying in college.
