The only reason this school is so highly rated is because 9 out of 10 kids there have been tutored in various subjects all the way from the elementary school and continue being privately tutored while in high school. Teachers are mostly mediocre and, frankly, they don't really need to do teaching considering the vast majority of kids already know what is being taught since they cover all the required material in advance.

I really enjoyed my time here. I think it was incredibly challenging and the course's rigor aptly prepared me for college.

The school is difficult, there's no doubt about it. But at the end of it, you will come out prepared for whatever your education may be after.

This school has outstanding education, among the top in the state. My advice is not to take French at this school. The Dean and teachers are not interested in your child’s success or their ability to speak French after graduating high school. The school is literally falling apart. It's so disappointing that a town as affluent as Lexington cannot get its' act together around a new high school. There is no room to eat in the cafeteria. Teachers are generally good, but there are still teachers who are uninspiring and just don't know how to...
