GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall an experience I enjoyed. Very diverse people and made great friends. Some faculty shine above others. Upgrades were in process before I left but, did not get to see them through. Education there is what you make of it.

My experience here has been 50/50 overall. Either it's going to be something good or bad happening. I would like to see improvements in parent involvement within the school board.

It was an ok school, nothing fancy. A lot of teachers left over the years, plus a lack of seriousness in some instances. Some teachers are really good and passionate in what they teach, but others didn't really seem to care and you could tell. It'd be better if there were teachers who really pushed students to do their best, same goes for administration.

However, students are not required to come on these extra days. This is a low-income communiy. Education is bad, but historically, it has...

I just moved to LSHS from other state and I am very pleased how the students behave inside and outside of the classroom. Students here are more respectful, hard working, and motivated to do the work. The administrators are awesome and very supportive.

No understanding of how the school has functioning individuals. The person below deserves a shot at mayor. At least s/he comprehends the LACK thereof support.
