GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Some of the best experiences I endured during my time at Lincoln Park High School rooted from their Peer to Peer Program that they offfer. This program provides students with autism opportunity to make more friends and feel just as normal as everyone else. Another good experience i had was with their school social worker always doing her job above and beyond to make sure students knew they had a safe place to go to. Unfortunately i do feel like the level of academic standards need to be raised. I am a near 4.0 student but this school did not do too well preparing us for college.

Personally I love my Highschool experience. As bad as the ratings i gave my high school, i truly do love high school. The people, the staff, every single one of them made me who i am today whether they had a big or made a small impact. But if I had to choose what i'd change, I wish there were more opportunities to succeed more as a Student and undergraduate. Not a lot of them give enough information about the future that's helpful enough and will only help you half way of the journey.

I don't believe the school itself is ran properly. Students are often left confused and disoriented due to poor organization. The cleanliness of the school is below average, although I believe that to be of fault the students, so I dont expect the staff to be able to fix that. The staff is a mixed bag to be sure. I think that I've had some amazing teachers and useful counselors, but have had other times where staff leaves me more confused than when I enter their staff or office. My only other complaint is that I wish there was more of a variety of AP classes and extracurriculars, as I feel like we are extremely behind compared to many other schools. Overall I'd call the school average, as it gets by balanced out by exceeding in some areas and lacking in others.

Excellent School. I go here and couldn't be happier. Everything has flaws but the staff and students all truly care about eachother and can have fun while learning. Administrators and staff are also making great improvements.

I think as far changes and strong leadership, might work, but it the students like me that need to help put the changes in together, i mean the school and teachers, great but some student don't seem to put the time and effort for work, nor any student wont mature up and do what they are told. Used to be a good school. Far overcrowded with too many different subcultures that cause a lot of problems. It always seems to be white vs black, mexican vs black, white vs mexican.. Also a lot of the students are on hard drugs. Teachers dont care.
