Rutledge Hall Elementary School is a well-regarded public school serving students in grades third through fifth. It is one of three schools located on the same picturesque campus in Lincolnwood. Surrounded by green, well-maintained grounds, Rutledge Hall offers a strong academic program to meet the needs of varied learners, with reading and math as core areas of focus. According to state test scores, Rutledge Hall did better in math and reading compared with students across the state. Other core academic areas of instruction include writing, science and social studies. Project Lead the Way, a STEM-based curriculum, was introduced to Rutledge Hall students during the 2017-2018 school year. To their delight, fifth-grade students were provided with individual iPads that same school year. Art, music, library and physical education are also taught on a regular basis to help students explore their many talents. Since it opened in 1957, Rutledge Hall has provided students with strong academic guidance and support, opportunities for a wide variety of extracurricular activities and an overall great school experience.

Private school like education with a very strong STEM program. We believe this school is helping build strong character and scholarship opportunities for our child. Parent community is very engage and working professionals (physicians, dentists, lawyers). We believe our children are in good company.

Excellent school! Curriculum is very rigorous and STEM based. One of the best STEM programs in the state. Teachers have Masters degrees of not Ph.D. We are very lucky to be in this school district!
