The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I like the school because the staff is all friendly and the building looks nice and the only complaints I would have is about other students but a majority of them are fine so other than that I really enjoy the school and will miss it a bit when I graduate.

It was okay. Not the best high school in the area. There could have been better communication between students and teachers. If you start AP classes, they make it difficult to get out of them.

I attended this school for one year before transferring to the South Carolina Governor's School For the Arts and Humanities (SCGSAH) in Greenville, SC. My overall experience was less than ideal. We moved here, because of this great school. We have sent 3 kids there. AMD love this school. NMB High use to be rated a 9 and then an 8. The have remodeled, but their values are still the same. So idk why it's so low. It should be a solid 8.
