GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I like going to this school. My teachers are great and I feel like I'm learning important things. However there are some disparities and separation among pathways.

There's a lot of diversity so it's not the same people you see everyday, nor the same people you talk to everyday. You can find new people and new friends and learn new things, it's not somewhere you're surrounded by "one type of kid."

Poly High School has some excellent academic programs and sports teams. There is also many great teachers. The worst thing is our bathrooms constantly get closed off, making it hard especially for girls to comfortably get through the day. We need new bathrooms.

Long Beach School District: REMOVE THE MASK MANDATE NOW! You went from promising these kids "two weeks to slow the spread" to nearly TWO YEARS of these mandates. It is time to give our students back their FREEDOM!
