great experience. i played soccer my first two years. I was able to go on college visitations as part of our leadership class. The teachers are very engaged with us and students generally think that teachers care abouy students. I enjoyed my high school time.

Millikan High School was a fantastic school. It offered great education and resources for all students. There is a great connection between faculty, staff, and students. Asb hosts very fun events and it is always a great time going to football games. The best parts of this high schools is the connection and bonds that students build with each other and their teachers.

At Millikan, it is very overwhelming to come as a freshman. Unless you have a very tight circle of friends previous, the challenge is there for making new friends. After you make friends and get to know people, Millikan becomes a lot easier to navigate. A lot of staff and parents are against the SLCs (small learning communities), but they make it easier to get to know people at this large school and be around people who have similar interests to you.

This school is the best school in long beach, all the teachers are so nice. They always respect others and student council is great with setting up events. I cant recommend any other high school but this one.

I was severely bullied and hated every second I spent at this school. SLCs make bullying and social division worse, and QUEST teachers put so much pressure on students, I honestly don't know how anyone gets through it.
