GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It's really nice, the teachers are nice too. The only bad part is that is really small and everyone knows each other, so, it can be hard to make friends.

IHS is one of the best public schools in New York. The school offers free college classes at local community college across the street. The teachers are very kind and passionate about what they teach. I graduated in 2019 and I would recommend this school to everyone.

IHS is a wonderful school, that makes you feel like a part of a family. It makes immigrants feel welcomed. The teachers are very open minded and extremely helpful. They help you with educational stuff and also personal issues. The education can be quite easy at times, but there is college class for you to challenge yourself

This is the best school any one can attend! The reason why this school is the best is because it gives you what any other high school in Queens doesn't have, students from all over the world, and that is important becuase you get to learn not only the culture of United States but as well as all over...
