GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best part of being at this high school is the amount of safety. This school makes me feel safe, I see other schools and it is shocking to see the amount of violence. My school rarely has fights or any types of threats and even if there is, I know they will get taken care of. The worst part is the food or how the unfair the rules can be. When it comes to uniform and what we can and can't wear

It's a pretty small school so there's never really much but the fact that they still have many sports and many clubs to do in that small school says a lot. Also the counselors help so much in order for seniors to get into college. Many of my friends who don't go to Burton say they are struggling to apply to college because they don't get the help we get at our school. I don't have any bad experiences at this school that I can think of or remember from the top of my head.

As a current senior I didn't always go here I transferred, and it's definitely really helped me especially if you're planning on going to college this school sets you on the best path. Although it was quite small it's a tight knit school with good teachers.

All my years that I attended Burton it only made my education higher. I loved that we got challenged at this school and it brought my standards higher than expected. I was moved to a different school in Malibu but the school there didn’t teach me as to Burton Tech. I came back to Burton Tech because...

This is a really good Alliance school that incorporates a lot of tech and online learning. Students were very proficient in the curriculum they had learned.

I graduated from this school on June 2013 and now I'm attending Cal State University, Northridge as an incoming freshman. I can really say that this is one of the best high schools out there from my perspective. This high school has a variety of programs that you can attend, thanks to heritage I had...
