I am a current senior and have been attending Washington Prep for all four years. I didn't have any high expectations coming in because of its well known reputation as "ghetto" but am surprised at the opportunities that have grown at this school. There are still a bunch of "bad" students and disruptions happen almost every day but if you are in the right group and prioritize relationships with teachers you can get a fulfilling high school experience at Washington Prep such as I did.

I've only been at George Washington preparatory high school for a semester now and I really like it. The English class really gets me prepared for college and so does the schedule.

Lack of support at this school. All students are not pushed to achieve higher goals like college. The culture is ok but academics is lacking.

I called the front office because my daughter called me saying someone was trying to jump her and then they never even checked on her nothing! my daughter got jumped and all they said was sorry its horrible I will never recommend lauds to turn it into a green dot school they...
