GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

As a parent of a new middle schooler, I had anxiety about middle school in general. I am so grateful to the staff and opportunities that my child has had at Armstrong this year. It is so challenging keeping phones out of the classroom, and the teachers at Armstrong really care. The dance and theater program is amazing and first class. Thank you for making all my anxiety disappear as my child is so happy.

Both kids attended and while my eldest had a decent experience, my youngest did not. 50+ kids in any class is tough for students and teachers to manage (and this was pre-pandemic). They definitely are not meeting the needs of students with IEP's either.

My overall 3 years at Millikan were not the best. Class sizes are huge and students are disrespectful to peers, teacher, and administration. There are rarely any parent volunteers but all the parents do is complain but don't do anything to help the problem. The food looks fake and does not take edible

My child is in SAGE and that program is pretty good. The kids in SAGE are really nice sweet kids. I haven't seen or heard of any bullying within that program. There is a GATE track within SAGE so if your child is identified gifted they can go on that track. The teachers in 7th and 8th grade are fant...

We love this school! My child goes to the Sage Program. The class sizes tend to be smaller in Sage, and the main emphaisis is to look out for each other, and not to bully others. My child let me know that the kids in SAGE do not bully, It encourages equity between students, and encourages students t...

I was a former student at this school and I have mixed feelings about it. This school is probably a better option than some other public schools, but that’s not saying much. The students here vape in the bathrooms every day and the fights are occurrent multiple times per month. Teachers are very dis...
