Established in 1982, Ribet Academy College Preparatory a coed, non-secular private school named after French-born Jacques Ribet. This highly regarded institution serves students in transitional kindergarten through twelfth grade. Home of the Fighting Frogs, Ribet Academy enrolls approximately 70 students and is located at 2911 N. San Fernando Road in Los Angeles. The school’s mission is to provide high quality education and create compassionate life learners who are well-rounded citizens in academics, arts and athletics.
Ribet teaches core curriculum classes in math, science, English and reading and is fully accredited through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Ribet boasts an astounding 100% acceptance rate into college, with 100% of the art students accepted into their first-choice colleges. The school features a rigorous visual arts education as well as a prestigious performing arts program, perfect for students looking to explore their creativity.

Racist School, (NOT GOOD FOR MINORITIES OF COLOR) requested my nephew leave the school when a white student bullied another student and they blamed my nephew a young black boy. The boy being bullied pointed to the white boy that bullied him, but they blamed my nephew. And then requested my sister pull her other black sons out of the school just because.

Ribet Academy is not a very good school when it comes to everything it has to offer. Besides a handful of good teachers, most of the teachers rely on the book too much and waste a lot of crucial class time trying to manage the students. There science program is very good with very strong teachers willing to go the extra mile if you are interested in the field. However, Ribet is not a very challenging place when it comes to the academic level. The teachers rarely give out homework and do a really poor job explaining some of the lessons. This is a place to send a student if they want an easy A.

I absolutely love all of my teachers this year. In the past I have had teacher that were not fair and at times did not teach well, but other teacher were their to help me. all of the teachers though are their for the students and genuinely care for us. I would not ask for any other school.

Worst experience of my life. Will never refer anyone to this place.

I really regret sending my child here. They are really behind in their academics. Ribet does not provide all of the programs they claim to. There is little to no enrichment for students. The Teacher turn over rate is extremely high. They have been consistently losing a lot of families.
