GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I would say that my high school has to be both amazing in great in different ways. for one, it's really big and is on a hill so there are lots of stairs to go through and it's all separated so that makes it harder for people like me who are not fit at all. but the best part of being at the school is the people and the culture. For one, it's a very chill school, and the teachers are pretty understanding. It's not hard to connect with people at that school since most teachers there teach the importance of working in a team. The school is also very supportive of the LGBTQ+ kids that go to the school including myself so that is awesome. The classes can get challenging, but that's in every school the teachers will help you out, and shout out to my teacher Mr. Paulson for being the coolest teacher there. Moral is in my experience, the good outweighs the bad by a load.

There are areas that are needed to be improved but other than that, I deeply enjoyed it. I've been at this school for all 4 years and it has taught me a lot about myself and others there. I've built strong relationships with classmates and staff. It was a turning point in my life and I'm grateful for such an experience this brought for me.

This school is disproportionately minority students and caters to kids who are not white and straight. I constantly get messages about equity and inclusion and how I should support it but nothing ever about how to protect all student from the weekly fights that take place between non-white students....

The three stars here are more directed as a question mark because as a parent with UNI as our home school, I’m very confused! It’s given 5/10 by the state but some reviews rave that it’s great. Something isn’t adding up. Touring the school it does not seem to be balanced in diversity either. Wonderi...
