Yeshiva University of Los Angeles Girls High School is a private high school for girls, in the Pico-Robertson neighborhood, just east of the Beverlywood neighborhood. Yeshiva University of Los Angeles Girls High School is affiliated with Yeshiva University of Los Angeles Boys High School and the two campuses are just over a mile apart. While the boys’ division of Yeshiva University of Los Angeles—frequently called YULA—was founded in 1979 by Rabbi Marvin Hier, the girls’ division of YULA was not established until more recently, in 2011. Rabbi Marvin Hier is notable not only for his vision in education, but also for being an Oscar Winner and founder of the Simon Wiesenthal Center. Currently, Rabbi Arye Sufrin is the head of both the boys' and girls' divisions at YULA. As a Modern Orthodox Yeshiva institution, YULA Girls School is committed to educating young women through Judaic studies of the Torah and general studies, as well as socially and culturally. With a commitment to both honoring the rich history of Judaic culture, while also placing a value on modern education and technology, every new YULA student receives a laptop.
Beyond the excellent education at Yeshiva University of Los Angeles Girls School, YULA’s campus is also conveniently located in a wonderful community within walking distance to over 25 synagogues as well as over 30 kosher restaurants, bakeries, and markets.

I am currently a sophomore at YULA. It is great if you don't care about your relationship with teachers.

I like this school because it is very technology oriented, which will be helpful for the future. Each student receives her own laptop and high school freshmen have a class for technology in their schedule.
