GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The teachers and admin at the school are very helpful and fun to learn from. It is easy to make relationships with the teachers and other students as well!

Los Lunas High School creates a great environment for students when it comes to sports and extra curricular activities. Teaching is a rough part, some of my teachers from the past four years were amazing, and others weren't. Especially after covid there was not many teachers and we did a lot of subs and online work. We didn't have much assistance from our councilors either. Although I did enjoy my time here at Los Lunas High and I do believe it is a good school.

I enjoy school and like to push myself. I like that my school is connected to the local community college so I have opportunities to take dual credit courses through my high school as well as on my own time. I participate in drama club and recently had a speaking, singing, and dancing role in my school's production of High School Musical. If I could change something about Los Lunas High School, I would ask for a later start time. Our day starts at 7:25 am, and there are often students that are tardy in the beginning of the day. If we started and ended later, I think it would reduce tardies.

I stand by the parent from Minnesota, having both lived in and taught in Minnesota and Wisconsin. There is a different attitude towards education there, and expectations are higher for students, parents, and teachers alike. NM has a long way to go, and so does LLHS, but both are making slow but stea...

To the parent from Minnesota you should go back if your child isn't getting that good of education then the problem starts at home. The basic fundamentals to an education starts at home. I was born and raised in Ohio and lived here for 20 yrs and have seen a lot of awesome students accomplish many g...

I attended Los lunas hight. I would like to call attention to the fact, the students who are defending their school, have terrible grammar and writing skills.

I am ashamed to have let my child go to such a terrible school. Growing up in Minnesota, the communities cared about the school and so did the teachers. Now, the school district as a whole as fell to shame. A warning to all, please choose a better school for your children. Los Lunas Schools, you've...
