Lowell Middle School
Just as an archer guides the arrow, teachers guide the young Red Arrows at Lowell Middle School to success. As a highly rated middle school in Kent County, Lowell Middle offers a competitive student-teacher ratio and a rigorous academic environment for sixth through eighth graders.
Lowell Middle School is in northern Lowell, just west of the Flat River. The Fred Meijer White Pine Trail and Creekside Park are nearby, offering exciting chances to learn about science by studying the local ecosystem.
Middle school athletics include wrestling, competitive cheer, football, volleyball, cross-country and more. The band in this competitive Schools of Choice institution performs in marching band and concert band events. Students can also perform in solo and ensemble competitions to hone their skills and deepen their passion for music.
Opportunities in fine art and community service give students even more chances to explore their interests. The Interact Club is sponsored by Rotary International and works to complete school, community and international service projects. As part of Lowell Area Schools, the middle school prepares students for Lowell High or Unity Alternative School.

My kids attended Lowell Area Schools for elementary and middle school. We moved out of state and now my two kids attend a different school district for middle and high school.
