GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

One of the best experiences I have experienced at Lumberton Senior High School was seeing how they value their seniors and appreciate our staff. Our school facility has given us students the best resources possible to make sure we won't commit the same mistakes other schools do. They make sure to feed us the right food and give us the right curriculum to maintain us in school. The worst experience in this school is seeing the seniors leave and see them grow into great college students.

The teaching and lack of information is poor. The budget is not slip very well, their are missing ceiling tiles, and the music and arts program is barely funded. The sports in my opinion, especially football, are overfunded.

I liked how the teachers are dedicated to our education. I also participated in sports all four year. I played soccer and did cheer. I loved the coaches and the overall experience. The administrators also were always helpful in helping with my educational needs.

Out of all the teachers I have had so far (I'm a junior this year), they have all been wonderful. They're always willing to help out and help a student understand the material, when students ask for extra help. Most teachers are also willing to stay after school in case someone needs to make up work...
