GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

One of the best experiences at Madera high school is the school spirit. Majority of the students are eager to learn and participate in class. There are opportunities to enroll in college courses, while in high school which helps students get ahead. And the school faculty is engaged with the students. However, there are times when school fights break out and students can disrespect personal boundaries and rules.

In my four years at Madera High, I had many memorable experiences. Overall I'd say school spirit is average. My classes have always been moderately engaging. One nig negative I will comment on is quite frequent fights.
