GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Magnolia High School is very confusing. The teachers are either great or terrible. Faculty is replaced every year as well. The food is terrible and so is our football team. The fine arts department doesn't get as much money as the sports department. In addition, half of the students don't act appropriately in a school environment.

My best experience at Magnolia High School, is band. There's a lot of involvement in band and all sports and extracurricular activities. The food isn't the best but that's why a lot of kids bring their own food for lunch.

I would like to see more encouragement and involvement towards church. Although Magnolia High School hosts Cru bible studies, students need to hear the good news of Jesus Christ. There have been two deaths, a freshman and junior and I pray that students are equipped and ready to reach those who need help.

My disabled child received an inferior education at this school. His needs were not met. He was discriminated against. It was a horrific experience. He was LEFT BEHIND and ignored.

Horrible school. Kids get bullied for being different and if they stand up for themselves and get jumped and protect themselves they get sent to an alternative school when they have never been in trouble before and have good grades and are in advanced classes!!

All in all, this was a good school. The principal was okay, but he often went back in his word and showed clear favoritism towards athletes. He also dissed the school and its staff which isn’t cool.
