The best part of the school is the building and the resources that are available to the school. The worst part is the way the school is advertised. We are shown as an only sports school rather than academics. I would love if we can more attention towards academic achievement.

I love Montour because I've been a part of their community for a long time, so I've gotten the chance to know countless teachers who are quite accommodating to my disorders. However, where my experience dips is with the availability of AP courses. Many schools have an abundance of AP courses for many different subjects. However, our school has a much smaller amount and is less diverse.

I have loved my time at Montour High School, and the entire Montour School District. During my time in the high school, I have been involved in sports, music, and many different types of classes. I have been extremely pleased with the administration and all faculty, and the school has been a safe and very enjoyable place to spend my high school years. I am especially a big fan of the schedule, as we have a 2 hour time frame in the middle of the day to eat lunch, do homework, and participate in any clubs or activities. If I could change anything about the school, I would change the start time, as it is earlier than all other schools around us. Starting school at 7:20 A.M. is a little bit early for my liking, but I understand the reasoning behind it. Overall, I would no-doubt give my Montour experience an A+.

I attended the high school from 2009-2013 and have been in the Montour School District my whole life. When I was there, Dr. Boyer, the now ex-superintendent, definitely did some damage to the school quality. However, they have a new one and are hopefully on the way up. I am pleased with Montour High School. My daughter, a senior in January of 10 transferred to Montour High School. We had transferred from Mount Pocono School district and I found out she almost had all the requirements for grad. Thankfully, she had not much to do complete to graduate. I am grateful...

This school is at least 3 years behind in academics. My daughter withdrew from this school after going for two weeks, because she was too smart and they refused to move her up a grade.
