MCA has definitely been a challenging school. I'm expected to complete much more difficult work than I was required to do in public school. There are some amazing teachers and it is a wonderful culture to help get me ready for college.

Being in a smaller school allowed me to get to know all the kids in my class and we became more like family. Twelve of us attended MCA from kindergarten through Senior year. This was special since we all grew up together. One benefit of the smaller school is the ability to develop a stronger rapport with your teachers. This could also be a drawback since there was not an option to take a class from a different teacher that had a different teaching style. Another benefit of a smaller school was the opportunity to play multiple sports or try a new sport. While the education was college preparatory we did lack a larger option of electives. We did not have the funding or students to warrant the added electives a larger school could offer. I would like to see the addition on more STEM classes in the lower levels to spark that interest sooner.

This school is not what it used to be when we first started attending. In the beginning it was a sweet Christ-centered school but not have to say I am in agreement with the most recent review here that it is rampant with toxicity. Rather than have a standard for parent and kid behavior, the administration actually enables the toxicity. The curriculum has also gone downhill, considerably. This is no longer a college prep school.
From the first interview to being accepted and beyond, this is a private school that doesn’t feel like one. The school is more welcoming and open than pretty much any other Christian school in the area, yet the academics are such that the strongest kids are just as prepared as anywhere else. In my o...
I have a child in lower school, and it has been deeply concerning to witness the environment. In elementary school, there is a clear divide between popular students and those who are treated poorly. I've never encountered such a level of entitlement and unkind behavior among children. I understand t...
I currently am a student here. It is nothing more than a low education, and the most stressful 4 years of your life. I'm going to leave MCA worse off than I was coming from a public school. I wish I had never left where I came from. I go into college unprepared, academically hm maybe I'm prepared. A...
