The safety procedures are very strict. No one is allowed to walk around alone, and teachers will check on you if you've been gone too long. The outside doors are always locked, to get in you must buzz the office, where they check your image in the camera to let you in. The nurse is always helpful and makes sure you're okay before sending you back to class. Bullying is not a problem, but it is taken seriously and student mediators and counselors talk about and help stop bullying.

I was constantly challenged at school. The teachers always found different and interesting ways of teaching, but we were still always allowed time to socialize.

We continue to be impressed with the direction of the school. Our children are loved and cared for. You can tell entire staff cares for them. COVID was hard for everyone, but they genuinely worked day and night for our children, especially our one daughter who really struggled academically as well a...

Churchill is a great school from top to bottom. We love the new principal and have had outstanding teachers for the vast majority of my kids time there. My only gripes stem from the ‘equity’ nonsense that allows for schools in wealthier parts of FCPS to pack classrooms up to 30 kids in a classroom -...
