GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Peters Township is a safe and respectable school who aims to prepare students for further life circumstances. Academics are highly prioritized however some faculty are just too problematic and aim to only give homework without teaching us. The area is beautiful though and it has much more rigorous work than other school districts.

My experience was really good. The teachers were mostly lovely and really helped me blossom as a student and the academics are fantastic. On top of this, sports and arts are both supported and they were both a great outlet for me during my time.

I have moved from Upper Saint Clair to Peters Township. I have seen the progress with my son in Peters Township school. I can say for sure it is much better.

We moved to Peters over ten years ago and have found the schools to be outstanding. The teachers and the support staff at the schools have been great. The other reviews on this site are very negative and seem to be sour grapes. I'm not sure why but we have had nothing but positive experiences with t...

Awful! DO NOT even consider this township for your children. They used to be good but poor administration has made it a terrible choice.

Elementary schools through 3rd grade are excellent. There is only big school for 4th-6th grade- it is too large and it's a 50/50 toss up whether or not your child will get a good teacher. The middle school is generally strong, but the gifted program has been completely dismantled - the previous admi...
