My son is a brown boy and this one male teacher in the morning doesn't speak to him. He said something to all the kids and parents but not us. That isn't welcoming to a new family. I hope we can do better Medford!

the teachers are v good up to 8th grade, on both sides there is a teacher who is hated for being v mean.2 of the teachers on side b, are the worst. they both give out almost 8 times the amnt of work as 7th grade, after giving an explanation thats lacking. on the side i got put on, i got separated from most of the friends i had the previous year, and now have only one class with 2 of the friends on the other side. the admins need to change bc they promise us things, then dont do the things. they are EXTREMELY hard on everyone abt attendance, they keep cutting it lower and lower and this year you only get 10 unexcused absences and if you get 3 then they send a letter home "from the da" to scare your parents to never let you stay home again or else there "will be court action" (if u go over 10)i hate this school and the teachers and its tearing apart my mental health and the relationship i have with my parents.

When having issues with bullying the staff was very helpful, they took the time to sit down with my family and I and figure out what the next steps would be.

I was in the first pk-8 class to graduate (class of 2011). I never really enjoyed the McGlynn, but I started to dislike it in sixth grade. I would come home and start my homework at 3 or 4, and still be doing homework at 10 in the SEVENTH GRADE. Some of the teachers teach their classes at a high sch...

McGlynn is actually an elementary and middle together, and I was here from K-8, and I must say, I enjoyed it. The dances could have been held better and the staff could have controlled the student body a bit better, but most of the teachers are excellent and the course is strong, making sure student...
