GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Small town school which leads to a really tight-knit community. The teachers put a lot of effort into their lesson plans and also support their students. Couldn't ask for better staffing. Just wish the student body had the same energy and kindness.

Medical Lake is a small and inclusive community. It has a good balance of longtime students of the district as well as military students. The extracurricular activities and athletics are great.

Students are kind, teachers care about each and every student and they help to make sure kids do not fail high school!

This is an incredible school with a great community support system. Students are known individually and there are so many great programs to help kids in their transition after high school. Very impressed with this school and the *new* administration!

True, lack of leadership among administrators. From academics, clubs, sports and classes offered, MLHS is lacking in all these areas. With no changes in sight! One thing this school is ahead of is the emphasis on career type classes but if your students wants to excel by going to college than find s...

I have experience having children in elementary, middle and high school in the Medical Lake School District and am GREATLY disappointed!! Expectations overall are incredibly low and the sudents are not held accountable. Sure, the teachers are nice, but the education is lacking on multiple levels!
