GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I loved it there, it was an amazing school and because the class sizes were relatively small, I really felt like I was connecting with the teachers. The small class sizes allowed the teachers to really focus on each student individually and some of the teachers that I had for one class in my freshman year of high school, still remember who I am and how I was in their class. The smaller sizes also helped me to feel more comfortable in the classroom settings, as I did not feel like there were a lot of eyes on me. I would love to see more activities that involve the students and the staff (Ex. spirit week) because I feel like it really allows the students to gain a more personal connection with each of their staff members.

I liked their sports and athletic environment. They have poor facilities and poor college readiness for students. The college readiness isn't addressed well at all and fails to prepare students for a college level education.

though there are definitely things i love about buckeye- there are also things that i'm not super fond of. the small community is nice in my opinion, but the building is falling apart and a lot of aspects of the technology behind it are out of date. teachers have broken smart boards, etc. if you are a student that plans on taking fine art related classes, i wouldn't recommend this school. i personally have taken art classes the last 3 years and don't feel like i have learned much at all in school. buckeye is a very heavily sports focused school. if that's what you're into- then maybe this is the place for you. some staff (counselors for example) aren't very quick to reply to emails about scheduling or personal problems.

This school is full of teachers and staff who genuinely care about your kids. Alot of the bad issues other schools have are very low in number here or non existent. The school counselors are great with helping students decide on classes that mirror their future plans.

I have been very happy with their growth over the last decade. Good work Buckeye.

Such a great and carrying school in which to entrust your children's education. Not so big that your child becomes just a number.

Buckeye Local schools are a hidden secret in a great community. Teachers that care about the students and their futures.
