I came to this school from a very small grade school. I'm glad I joined the soccer team right away,so I already had friends when I started my freshman year. The school is beautiful with a great music and arts department, great stadium, plenty of clubs to choose from.

Highland High School greatly values academics. The school brags about its high standings in academic rankings. AP classes are valued much higher that CCP classes which is unfortunate. I would like to see some CCP classes come to the school. I would also like to see more extracurriculars that prepare students for future jobs and college.

Best thing about Highland is the level of educations and worst is probably the food. Highland teachers take time to make sure kids are getting the right level of education and that's what I most like.

We have 2 kids at HHS and love it. It should be a 10/10. The excellent teachers, great coaches, the best band director who supports the kids simultaneously participating in sports…we couldn’t be happier.

Highland is a wonderful school district! It is just the right size where you get to know other families and it is a very friendly and giving community. They actually care about each other unlike some large districts where students get lost in the crowd.

In my book it is over rated. They do not care about bullying and try to shut you up. They graduate kids w disabilities even though they did not go to school the last 6 months of school. The teachers are not qualified and all the good teachers they make them retire.

Highland is a great school in a small community. The academic scores are consistently high. The quality of education is very good.
